Statue - Uriel means "Flame of God" in Hebrew. According to the Revelation of Esdras, Uriel is the Archangel sent by God to guide and instruct Esdras. Often identified as a cherub and angel of repentance, Uriel watches over "thunder and terror" (Hell) and can be seen as pitiless, carrying a weapon of warning.
He is also the angel who warned Noah of the great flood and is one of the seven Angels to rule at the end of the world.
